Training will move back to Fife Institute in Glenrothes on Tuesday 9 March 2010 and will continue every Tuesday from 7.15pm till 8.45pm.
The next fitness test takes place on Tuesday 20 April 2010 starting at 7.30pm prompt. Warm up etc. should be completed prior to this time.

Tommy is a former referee and
ensures training is fun and varied through the use of FIFA training
material and the use of the UEFA Referee Training Programme supplied
by Professor Dr. Werner Helsen of Belgium. Senior and Junior
Referees are required to complete the FIFA Fitness Test twice
per season. Here are some photos showing referees going through the fitness test. The FIFA Fitness Test, as shown below, has been recognised throughout the world for many years.
The FIFA Test comprises :-
Average running speed during repeated fast runs over a specific distance.
6 x 40metre sprints 6 to 6.6 seconds dependent on referee category, with 1 minute 30 seconds recovery between each.
Capacity to perform repeated high-intensity runs.
Intermittent running of a minimum 15 laps. One lap comprises 2 x 150m runs in a maximum 30 seconds, each followed by a 50m recovery run, the time for which will vary from 35 to 45 seconds, dependent on category of the referee.
