The Devevlopment Association's finals day was held at Ochilview, Stenhousemuir FC on Sunday 29th June.
Alan Spalding controlled the game with assistance from Usman Javed and Mike Lawson on the line. The U15 final between EKYC Yellow of East Kilbride beat Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts of Fife by the odd goal in a seven goal thriller. Pictured above is Alan (middle), Usman (left) Mike (right) |
Douglas Potter (Referee), George MacDonald (Asst Ref) and Paul McAvinue (Asst Ref) officiated at a recent closed door game between Dunfermline Athletic and Glasgow Rangers. Rangers ran out comfortable 2-0 winners in a very entertaining match. |

Chris Shay (Referee), David McLaren (Asst Ref), David MacKinnon (Asst Ref), and David Davidson (4th Official) looked after this Semi-Final between Hillwood Boys Club and Parkwood Boys Club.

Dougie Potter, Alan Spalding & Paul McAvinue recently officiated on a charity match raising funds for cnacer research. Dunfermline Athletic Legends fought out a 2-2 draw with Ajax Amateurs at East End Park, Dunfermline.
Legends such as Jim Leishman, Dick Campbell & Greame Robertson played alongside Andy Todd and David Bingham for Dunfermline, Marco Ruttenbeik managed the Ajax Team.
The photo above shows the glee of the lads who were eagerly looking forward to officiating the match.

The Development Association's Finals Day was held recently at Stenhousemuir's home ground, Ochilview. The first final was between East Kilbride Youth Club and Newmains Hammers at U13. Bit of a Lanarkshire derby. 0-0 at full time with Newmains winning narrowly on penalties.
Alan Spalding refereed this match with Kirsty Morgan as the stand side assistant.
The second match saw another local derby between Blue Brazil Boys Club and Oakley Thistle with Oakley Thistle running out handsome winners. Kirsty took up the far side assistant referees position in this U15s match. |
Paul Simmons and George MacDonald assisted Real Radio football phone in presenter Ewan Cameron, in the middle position at a Charity Match between the Scottish Prison Service, Polmont and Central Scotland Police at Falkirk Stadium. The match was held to help raise funds for Prison and Police Staff who find themsleves battling against cancer during their career. Both teams competed for the brand new Mick Hughes Memorial Trophy which has been named after Falkirk FC manager, John 'Yogi' Hughes' late father who sadly passed away last year. The Scottish Women's Football League Cup Final took place at Bayview in Methil on Sunday 9 December 2007. Dundee United ran out 6 - 0 winners against Dalkieth. Match Officials were from L-R David Davidson, Alex Mercer, Terry Donnelly, Alan Duncan.

Davy McLaren and Robert Danskin were honoured to take charge of the Ceres 5-A-Side Competition held on Saturday 23 June. The winners of the competition were a team called 'The Orange Goalie' pictured here.
