Social Events
2008
April - Annual Dinner was held in The Rotunda, Adam Smith College, Glenrothes, Thursday 17 April 2008 - Guest Speakers were Gordon Smith, Chief Executive of the Scottish Football Association and After Dinner Speaker Eric Davidson. A fantastic night was had at this event, the photos here show how good it was
April - Car Treasure Hunt - John Watson, Social Convener ran a very well organised Car Treasure Hunt. No less than 7 teams took part, the eventual winners being George MacDonald's car team. Happy faces all over can be seen in these photos.
January - Snooker Night -- Styx in Kirkcaldy - Sunday 27 January 2008. The event went without hitch with 16 Referees, male and female battling it out for the prestigious prize of the Best Doubles Team. MacDonald and Spalding went into an early lead after fluking their way through to a win against Watson and Martin. Cries rang out from each of the tables when the high breaks went thrashing in, particularly from the Morgan and Gill partnership. 'Watch out for a competition to guess the highest break.' Ask around for the player who scored the most foul shots, it wasn't Jimmy WHYTE either but a despairing Macaulay might well let you know who his partner was... The doubles pairing, err threesome, err foursome of McHendry, Stokoe, Clark and Clark battled the night away with fun, jollity and mobile phonity. In the end, with cries of delight from our two newly recruited cheerleaders, Cooper and Potter ran out winners on the night pipping MacDonald and Spalding at the post who had a hotly contested game against Simmons and Stefan, red card ref...........
A big thank you to our Social Convener, Totty, for a excellently organised event.....
