We are now at the beginning of a new season, the 2019/2020 season.
There has been changes to some of the Laws of the Game, some of which you have been notified of, some of which have been wrongly reported in various forms of the Media.

To make sure you are completely up to date with the changes, their implications, the implementation of them on the field of play, please attend the August Fife Referee meeting where, a training session on these changes will be held with footage etc. of incidents relating to the changes will be shown and discussed.

The season never actually stops for some, and with the amount of Friendlies that have taken place, the Challenge Cup starting and the various Leagues having started or are very close to starting, it is imperative that you maintain your fitness and wellbeing.

The hard work and effort continues at our Training Sessions. Our Trainer, George MacDonald continues to put us through our paces at our weekly physical training sessions every Tuesday evening. The venue is at the Michael Woods Sports & Leisure Centre in Glenrothes, the warm up starts at 7.15pm sharp. Come along and meet up with your fellow Referees and improve and maintain your fitness level. Please remember to bring appropriate footwear for use on the track and the grass pitch. We have recently introduced practical sessions into our Training Sessions so please bring your Cards and Whistle with you each week
I hope all of you had and enjoyable rest over the summer and I wish you well for the forthcoming season.
Thanks,
                          Kyle Hall
                            President
